Our Story
“Montessori to You” is the brainchild of Montessori educators, Shahina and Riz. It has been inspired by their work and personal experiences in the field of Montessori education, as well as their late mother’s passion for educating children. She was a loving mother and an incredible teacher. Her dedication and commitment to helping children learn and flourish have been the motivating force behind Shahina and Riz’s chosen career paths, and the “Montessori to You” program.
It has been inspiring for Shahina and Riz to see first-hand how effective the Montessori method is, and the accelerated impact it imparts on a child’s academic life. They have seen hundreds of children graduate from the Montessori program with a strong foundation in advanced Math and Reading skills.
It is Shahina and Riz’s strong belief that Montessori education should be accessible to all children, especially during the preschool years. Given the benefits that it has to offer, they wanted to create a user-friendly, convenient method to bring ‘Montessori to You’ in the convenience of your home environment.
Shahina
Shahina is a Certified and Trained Montessori Teacher who has first-hand experience of using the Montessori Method of education at home, and in the classroom. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters who have greatly benefited from a Montessori Education. The “Montessori to You” program is based on Shahina’s work and experience of using the Montessori Method with her daughters at home, and the many years Shahina has spent in Montessori classrooms guiding and watching children develop a curiosity, and love for learning. She greatly values the powerful learning experiences the Montessori Method provides children and their parents. Shahina is honoured to share her experiences and knowledge through “Montessori to You”, so that you and your child can also benefit from this incredible journey of learning.
Riz
Riz has a degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an International Teaching Diploma in Montessori Education. He has a wonderful son who has greatly benefitted from the Montessori Method. Montessori Education has been a major part of Riz’s life for over 15 years. He is the proud owner and director of an award-winning Montessori school in Mississauga, Ontario which has been operating successfully since 2003. Through his work with students and parents over the many years, Riz has directly witnessed how Montessori Education helps children from an early age thrive in a variety of ways, including emotionally, intellectually, personally, and socially.
