Sandpaper Numbers

The purpose of this activity is to help your child associate visually the form of each number by tracing the shape of each. The numbers are made of sandpaper that allows the child to feel the shape of the individual number. When they trace the numbers, they are learning the shape in order to be able to identify the number as well as preparation for writing. In addition, this is a great sensory activity.
