Introduction To The Decimal System With The Golden Beads

This is a beautiful, and enticing introduction to the decimal system. This activity will help your child become familiar with the names of the decimal categories (units, tens, hundreds, and thousands) and with their relative proportions. It also shows that each decimal category is ten times the previous category.

Number Cards

This activity is used to introduce your child to symbols of the decimal categories, as well as place value. In addition, your child will begin to learn how to read four-digit numbers.

Stamp Game

After being introduced to the decimal system, the stamp game is a tool for learning and reinforcing knowledge of the four Math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This material is used by children (5 years +) for both carrying and borrowing equations.
